Lead Sourcing Analyst

As a Lead Sourcing Analyst at BMC, you will play a crucial role in managing global categories, suppliers, and spend. You will act as a subject matter expert, developing and leading global category strategies, fostering internal business partner relationships, negotiating supplier terms & conditions, and providing market intelligence to ensure competitive pricing. Your responsibilities will include analyzing spending data, market trends, and supplier performance, as well as implementing category management tools and processes to enhance spend analytics and customer service. You will establish and maintain strategic relationships with critical suppliers, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and provide feedback to upper management on project statuses and initiatives. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in applying procurement principles, knowledge of contractual terms related to software, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a strong intellectual curiosity for analysis and continual learning. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, along with 7-10 years of supply chain work experience, is required. Experience in IT procurement is preferred.
