Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity Lead Software Engineer Honeywell Aerospace Technologies MET COE Maintenance & Execution Transformation (MET) COE is dedicated to delivering best-in class solutions for Aircraft Maintenance both onboard and offboard across multiple Avionics platforms & customers which includes OEMs and Operators and also Execution Transformation through DevSecOps solutions for Aerospace Product Development. This role is for leading DevSecOps Strategy and Solutions. In this role, you would join our family of future shapers who design, develop, integrate & deliver complex solutions within MET COE and lead the technology & solution strategy for DevSecOps enabling transformation in the way we do product development in Aerospace Technologies. This role is also responsible to lead & create DevSecOps Solution Strategy & Technology roadmap, mentor & coach the team as a Subject Matter Expert and play global leadership role (Lead Software Engineer) interfacing multiple stakeholders including internal customers. You will work across disciplines to support the needed integration and deployment of solutions across Avionics programs. You are expected to hold the complete responsibility of DevSecOps Lifecycle for all product lines in Aerospace Technologies Avionics Systems. You are expected to drive value for business working closely Customers & IT. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Establish Tools, Processes, Infra & Technology roadmap for AeroSPS and drive the necessary execution actions Stakeholder Management Customer VOCs, MOS w/ customers, counterparts & IT , Reporting DevSecOps activities Continuous Software Builds, Static Analysis/Security Scans, Continuous Integration, Testing & Deployment Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure project success Lead initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all software development activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Mentor and guide team on technical guidance. Knowledge of Aerospace Software Development Life Cycle, Processes, Practices & Tools SKILLS B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Electric / Electronics / Computers / Aerospace Engineering Minimum 12 years of experience working in software engineering / engineering tools / DevSecOps. End-to-End working experience with global teams in the area of product ownership, project engineering, product development Extensive Experience in DevSecOps using Contemporary Tools & Solutions Expertise working Engineering Tools Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Software Development, Static Analysis, Cyber Security is preferred. Experience with Aerospace Product Sw Development processes is an added advantage. Working experience with Tools Development Desktop & Web is an added advantage. Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external). Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
