Role Overview: You will be joining a global team at New Relic, dedicated to shaping the future of observability by building an intelligent platform that empowers companies to thrive in an AI-first world. As a Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust Salesforce solutions. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the US team, providing mentorship to local developers, and ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including custom objects, Apex code, Lightning components, Flows, and Process Builder. - Lead technical discussions, define technical requirements, and provide architectural guidance for Service Cloud implementations. - Collaborate closely with the US-based team, ensuring seamless communication and project coordination. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers in India, fostering their growth and ensuring best practices are followed. - Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Service Cloud projects. - Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain documentation for all technical solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce Service Cloud. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. - Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, focusing on Salesforce Service Cloud. - Expertise in Apex, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), Salesforce APIs, Flows, Process Builder, SOQL, and SOSL. - In-depth knowledge of Service Cloud features such as Case Management, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Live Agent, Knowledge, and Entitlements. - Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP APIs). - Understanding of Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and governor limits. - Experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong mentorship and leadership abilities.
