SUMMARY: We are looking for a Lead Product Specialist to manage product setup, system configurations, quality control, troubleshooting, and customer communication in a digital printing and variable data processing (VDP) environment . This role requires expertise in barcode labeling, pre-press workflows, and digital print technologies, ensuring smooth operations, process improvements, and timely project execution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITES: Product Setup & System Configuration: Manage product setups, system configurations, and new order processing. Oversee format creation, data functionality, product testing, and sample generation. Ensure proper system setup for new retailer accounts. Quality Control & Customer Support: Conduct internal quality checks for product proofs, ensuring adherence to standards. Coordinate with customers for technical product details, quotes, proofs, and turnaround timelines. Address and resolve customer queries related to product specifications and print output. Process Improvement & Troubleshooting: Lead internal troubleshooting for product-related issues and suggest process improvements to minimize errors and returns. Work with cross-functional teams (production, customer service, sales, and international teams) to resolve order-related challenges. Ensure digital product books (customer catalogs) are updated as required. Team Coordination & Supervision: Delegate tasks, oversee team workflow, and provide guidance and coaching. Monitor team performance, support in conducting annual reviews, and address team concerns. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Any Bachelor's / masters Degree - B. E/ B. Tech - Any Major, M. E/ M. Tech - Any Major, MCA 4 to 6 years experience in understanding technical details of system functionality and setup product details. 4+ years of experience in digital printing and VDP . Hands-on experience with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Bartender, and Fusion Pro. Strong understanding of Pantone, RGB, CMYK, and spot colors in digital printing. Knowledge of barcode symbologies, image resolutions, PDF optimization, and prepress workflows . Expertise in data merge tools for processing variable data files and generating print-ready PDFs . Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and customer service orientation . Experience handling various printers and print engines for new product setups. Familiarity with inventory systems, workflow automation, and process improvement techniques. Strong adaptability to fast-paced work environments.
