Lead Product Engineer - UCIe & Functional Verification

As a Lead Product Engineer at Cadence, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of products and technologies with material responsibility for their success. You will be an expert in the UCIe domain of Verification IP family, focusing on protocols and products. Your main role will involve accelerating the VIP portfolio adoption at Cadence's top-tier customers through pre-sales technical activities. Your strong verification expertise and understanding of customer design and verification flows will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Drive product knowledge transfer across field engineers and customers by providing training and developing collaterals - Translate high-level customer requirements into technical specifications and lead the product definition process - Work independently and collaborate with other team members (R&D, Marketing, support) to ensure alignment of all product dimensions - Approximately 20% travel may be required for this role Qualifications Required: - At least 5 to 8 years of experience in Verification and Design - Working knowledge of UCIe domain and functional verification - Experience in developing Verification environments using System Verilog - Familiarity with the UVM methodology - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Qualifications: - BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent Behavioral Skills Required: - Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills - Ability to establish close working relationships with customer peers and management - Willingness to explore unconventional solutions to get the job done - Effective collaboration across functions and geographies - Drive to raise the bar while maintaining integrity At Cadence, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a creative and innovative environment.
