Lead - Product Development (Apparel)

You will play a crucial role as a Senior NPD Knitwear at a direct-to-consumer (D2C) lifestyle brand, leading the development of knitwear products from concept to production handover. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving the full product development process for knitwear, including trend research, design ideation, and fabric/yarn sourcing - Conducting market research on consumer trends, competitor products, and emerging silhouettes - Sourcing and evaluating yarns, fabrics, trims, and finishes - Creating CAD sketches, tech packs, and patterns for sampling and production - Leading fit sessions and ensuring technical precision through pattern corrections and garment construction improvements - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless product handover and launch execution - Mentoring and guiding junior NPD team members Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Knitwear Design, Fashion/Textile Design, or a related field - 6-9 years of experience in knitwear product development - Deep technical knowledge of knitwear construction, yarns, stitches, and finishing techniques - Proficiency in CAD software, tech pack development, and garment construction methods - Strong project management skills and attention to detail If you resonate with the belief in simplicity with better basics and find joy in little things, you might be the perfect fit for this role at /SAADAA.
