Lead Product Designer

We are looking for a dynamic, talented, and experienced Product Designer to take charge of design projects for one of our promising early-stage portfolio companies in Mumbai. Your main responsibility will be to create user-centric and visually appealing products that support the company's objectives. You will be in charge of leading the design process, starting from brainstorming ideas to the final execution of new and existing products. Conducting thorough user research to comprehend customer needs, pain points, and behaviors will be a crucial part of your role. You will be expected to develop user personas, customer journey maps, and wireframes to transform concepts into practical designs. Additionally, creating high-fidelity prototypes and UI designs that are not only functional but also visually engaging will be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration with product managers to ensure that design solutions align with business goals is essential. You will also work closely with developers to guarantee the accurate implementation of designs. Conducting usability testing and refining designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights will be a continuous process. Promoting user-centered design principles throughout the organization and staying updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices are also key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or related fields, along with a strong portfolio that demonstrates user-centric design, problem-solving, and visual design skills. Proficiency in design tools like Figma is required, and previous experience working with ANT Design System is a plus. Hands-on experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing is necessary, as well as a solid grasp of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Familiarity with Agile and iterative design processes is preferred. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will need to present and explain design concepts to stakeholders effectively. Experience in designing for B2B SaaS or BFSI domains is advantageous. While knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a bonus, it is not mandatory for this role.,
