Lead Product Designer – Team Leadership

Location

: Hybrid
  • Bangalore
  • 6 months (extendable)

About The Role

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer who is passionate about mentorship and team development. Beyond driving design work, you’ll play a central role in coaching, guiding, and inspiring designers around you.

What You’ll Do

  • Mentor junior and mid-level designers, guiding them on craft, frameworks, and problem-solving.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards in both design and collaboration.
  • Provide structured feedback and career growth support to team members.
  • Create opportunities for peer learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with design leadership to shape culture and best practices.
  • Continue contributing hands-on to high-priority design projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of product design experience with proven leadership skills.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and ownership.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire peers.
  • Excellent communication and feedback-giving skills.
  • Experience balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on design work.
