Job Description

1. Production scheduling as per capacity planning. Scheduling of machine as per capacity & Plan loading with minimum number of Product change over.

2. Preparation and monitoring of RM & PM coverage at units, anticipating issues based on supplies and consumption

3. Monitor production with the plant at Streams/Products/Pack Level. Risk assessment of production loss based on stream / pack loading. Review of likely shortfalls. Working on risk mitigation plan before the shortfall occurs.

4. Support for any new products/shade/SKUs introduced

5. Priority SKU management among distribution & plants to ensure critical SKUs serviced on time.

6. Understand the dynamic production scheduling of plants, align the same to demand and act as a bridge between Supply chain and manufacturing.

7. Identification and implementation of development projects for automation, avoiding NVA and various other developmental activities.

8. Handling MIS reports of planning department.

9. Review safety stocks and inventory levels including fast/slow moving RM/FG

10. Coordination with Production sections in Plant, Distribution & Purchase team on daily basis for Service reliability & critical Stream SKU servicing

11. Lowering cost to Operate and reducing inventory cost of RM /PM by managing production with less inventory days and ensuring no dead stocks inventory at Site. Analysing demand plans and providing inputs to demand planning/production planning teams to lower inventory holding costs and improve inventory turnover rates
