Job Description

Role Overview: You will be leading a project from the mechanical discipline at Jacobs, where you will be responsible for designing spaces that foster innovation, cultivate collaboration, and drive the next great discovery for humanity. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise, collaborative spirit, and managerial skills to ensure successful project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Lead projects from the mechanical discipline, demonstrating excellent managerial and communication skills. - Possess a strong knowledge of High-Pressure packages such as Boiler, Hot oil system, Hot Water system, Condensate recovery & transfer system, Vapor absorption system, and other heating equipment. - Familiarity with packages like Chiller, side stream filter, cooling tower, compressed air system, Nitrogen plant, Hydrogen plant, dosing system & cleaning system, Pumps, lift, water treatment, tailor-made packages. - Proficient in IS, ISO, ASME, EN, API, IBR, National, International codes & standards. - Manage a team of engineers/designers for the successful completion of projects, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules. - Maintain communication with the team, clients, vendors, and project management team to ensure project success. Qualifications Required: - Education: BE- Mechanical (Post-graduation will be an added advantage but not mandatory) - Experience: 15 to 20 years in material handling. - Strong understanding of industrial plants, FMCG, Chemicals/specialty chemicals, Electric batteries, Solar PV. - Knowledge of engineering activities including FEED, Basic, Concept, Detailed engineering, Costing, and man-hours estimation.
