Lead Logistics Engineering

As the Logistics Engineering Head at CNH Industrial in Pithampur, you will play a crucial role in leading warehouse layout planning, infrastructure setup, and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost optimization in logistics engineering. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading warehouse layout planning, space optimization, and storage bin design in alignment with operational flow. - Planning and executing infrastructure setup for new projects and existing warehouse areas, including racking, shelving, docks, and handling equipment. - Preparing and releasing RFQs to suppliers for warehouse infrastructure, trollies, fixtures, and related material handling systems. - Managing trolley design and development for in-plant logistics, ensuring ergonomic and safe handling of components. - Overseeing trolley manufacturing, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. - Leading maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of existing trollies, bins, and warehouse equipment to maintain operational readiness. - Conducting manpower resource planning and allocation for warehousing activities, including manpower and material movement aids. - Collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams for the implementation of material flow and storage systems. - Ensuring compliance with EHS standards, audit readiness, and adherence to internal controls. - Preparing capital expenditure (CAPEX) proposals, budget forecasts, and monitoring project execution against timelines and costs. - Leading digital initiatives for layout visualization, inventory visibility, and performance tracking. - Supporting training and skill development of the logistics engineering team members. In addition to the above responsibilities, you are required to have a minimum of 15 years of experience and possess a B.E. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
