Lead Java Engineer

As a highly experienced Lead Java Engineer with 12+ years of hands-on expertise, your role at Avenue Code will involve architecting, designing, and leading the development of scalable enterprise applications in the Supply Chain Order Management domain. Your deep proficiency in modern Java technologies, distributed systems, and Microservices will be crucial for success. **Key Responsibilities:** - Expertise in Java 17+ - Implementation of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and various Microservice Patterns - Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservice Architecture - Proficiency in Kafka - Hands-on experience with Cassandra and Solr - Familiarity with Oracle or MySQL - Knowledge of CI methodologies and Tools - Practical experience with AppD, ELK, Grafana - including alerts and notification setup - Unit testing with Junit and Mockito **Nice to Have:** - Experience using Elasticsearch for transactional data storage - Familiarity with Spring WebFlux to build synchronous and asynchronous Microservices In your role, you will be expected to analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in various computer programs. Your responsibilities will include authoring, reviewing, and approving technical designs, mastering the domain programming language, and engineering extensible solutions with the team in mind.
