Position: Lead Java Developer

JD:

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain active collaboration with the Product Owner to understand business requirements and lead requirement gathering meetings.
• Review and validate design documents with the Product Owner and stakeholders.
• Own backlog items and coordinate with team members to deliver planned features for each sprint.
• Perform technical design and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• Prototype, develop, and troubleshoot software across user interface and service layers.
• Conduct peer reviews on source code to promote reuse, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in technical discussions focused on software design, architecture, and user experience.
• Deliver demonstrations of project features and sub-features to client stakeholders.
• Support QA teams with test plan creation, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.

Mandatory Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in

  Java development

  with a strong focus on multi-tier architecture.
• Expertise in

  Spring Boot

  and

  Microservices

  development.
• Experience working with

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  or

  AWS

  cloud services.
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript

  and responsive web design supporting cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong understanding of

  web service models

  and experience creating/consuming

  REST APIs

  , including Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of

  UML

  , application design, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Unit testing expertise using

  JUnit

  or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies.
• Experience with tools like

  Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities.

Good to Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies and UI frameworks.
• Exposure to

  CI/CD

  and DevOps practices.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with JSON payloads and API testing tools such as Postman.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
