Role Description

Job Title:

Python + AWS Developer

Location:

Trivandrum, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Pune

Experience Level:

5+ yrs

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python
Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.
Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Work with AWS infrastructure including IAM, EC2, ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
Integrate CI/CD workflows using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Improve system performance, reliability, monitoring, and security.
Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Write unit and integration tests and ensure code quality through best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong programming skills in Python.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
Proficient in REST API development and microservices design.
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).
Understanding of security best practices, including API authentication, IAM policies, and encryption.

This is

not a DevOps role

. Candidates with primarily DevOps backgrounds will

not be considered

. The role requires core development and support expertise with AWS services using Python.
