Job Description

Role:

Work Location:

Performance testing Lead with 6+ years of experience in LoadRunner and JMeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Performance test scripts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Test Planning: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
Test Execution: Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, test engineers, and product managers to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for test automation improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Automation Framework.
Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers and help them develop their automation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner
Develop and implement performance testing strategies and plans.
Define performance test scenarios, test data, and metrics for measurement.
Design, develop, and execute performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
Use performance testing tools in JMeter & LoadRunner to simulate user load and analyze system performance
Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, failures, and areas for improvement.
Provide detailed analysis and reports on performance testing outcomes.
Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
Recommend performance improvements and optimizations.
Monitor and review system performance in production environments to ensure sustained performance.
Communicate performance test results and findings to stakeholders.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.

Nice to have:

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their performance testing tools
Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance testing into DevOps processes.
