Lead I - Software Engineering (Senior React Developer)

The Senior React Developer position at UST in Pune requires an experienced individual with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in developing React.js-based applications. As a Senior React Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing React-based front-end applications. Your key responsibilities will include migrating UI components to React from legacy frameworks, implementing reusable UI components, and integrating with REST APIs. Collaboration with design, product, and back-end teams is essential to build high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize React.js frontend applications. - Migrate existing UI components from legacy frameworks to React.js. - Implement reusable UI components based on design system guidelines. - Integrate front-end with backend APIs. - Ensure performance, accessibility, and security best practices are followed. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams. - Conduct code reviews and write unit and integration tests. - Maintain documentation and contribute to frontend best practices. - Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). - Mentor and guide junior developers. Qualifications: - Education/Certification: MS/BE in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. - Required Knowledge: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+. Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux or Context API, and React Hooks. Experience with Material UI, Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and modern build tools. Familiarity with REST APIs and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
