About the role

I am a process expert and I am required to lead the Tax Operations function. I have to ensure that the root cause of issues are identified and fixed. Ensure month end is smooth by completing assigned coversheets.

Salary

You will be responsible for

To appropriately respond to Group Tax Queries that the business raises

- Prepare reconciliations and Review all the Accounting reconciliations including control summary in line with best practice requirements

- Adheres to timeliness and understands the importance of accuracy in the month-end and duty deferment process

- Supports Audit by providing relevant information/explanation

- Validates the process/HTS/ Completes cover sheets and identify if there are any issues

- Incorporates feedback from stakeholders/managers to continuously improve the Returns

- Liaising with different IT teams / Business teams for resolution of issues and raising as appropriate

- Finds opportunity for automation and simplification of reports and delivers it through self or with help of guides

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

- Driving and implementing CI Projects and innovation for their teams

- Deep expertise in a particular process or field

- First line team supervisory responsibility on process mentoring, on the job training, coordinating and presenting

- Maintain relationships with multiple partners, handle customer issues within process
