Lead Golang Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Golang Developer with a strong background in Product Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in developing and maintaining scalable applications using Golang.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance and scalable software solutions using Go.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver end to end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture design, and technical discussions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 8 years of backend engineering experience with Golang.
• Strong understanding of Go concurrency (goroutines, channels) and memory model.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems in production environments.
• Proficient with REST APIs, gRPC, protobuf, and event-driven systems.
• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and scalability principles.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger).
