Lead Finance Controller

You will be responsible for managing accounting and financial systems, including software like Tally and SAP. This will involve maintaining accounting ledgers, running periodic audits, and developing internal processes for managing vendor invoices and employee out-of-pocket expenses. You will work closely with business units to identify excess spending and potential optimizations. Additionally, you will coordinate with the founders to oversee firmwide budgeting. Key Responsibilities: - Manage accounting and financial systems using tools like Tally and SAP - Maintain accounting ledgers and conduct periodic audits - Develop internal processes for managing vendor invoices and employee expenses - Identify excess spending and potential optimizations in collaboration with business units - Coordinate with founders to oversee firmwide budgeting In terms of financial reporting, you will be responsible for building Management Information Systems (MIS) for internal reporting, including expense distribution, revenues, and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements. You will also create a central repository of invoices, filings, and other financial documents. Qualifications: - High preference for Chartered Accountants (CAs) - Deep understanding of taxation and auditing for innovative business models - Experience in vendor management, financial reconciliation, and accounting - Proficiency in MIS reporting - Experience with nodal/escrow accounts is a plus - Excellent communication skills for negotiations with external vendors and enforcing budget requirements across all business units As an employee of Refyne, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced founding team with a successful startup track record.
