Lead finance and accounts

*About the Role:*

Mykare Health is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Lead – Finance & Accounts to strengthen our internal finance operations. This role involves full ownership of day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, and timely book closure — while working closely with the Finance Head.

This is an opportunity to take end-to-end responsibility, lead a small team, and grow with a fast-moving healthtech startup making a difference.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounts and bookkeeping

Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books

Handle GST, TDS, and all statutory compliances and filings

Supervise accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations

Monitor cash flow and support budgeting & cost control

Lead and mentor the accounts & finance team

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors

Support in reporting, MIS preparation, and compliance checks

*What We’re Looking For:*

Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts

Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books, Tally, Excel/Sheets

Expertise in Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and ROC filings

Experience in a startup or healthcare environment is a plus

Self-driven, reliable, and able to independently manage key responsibilities

Team leadership skills with a strong process-oriented approach
