Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong knowledge of
steel fabrication, welding (SMAW, MIG, SAW, etc.), cutting, and assembly processes
.
Familiarity with
tower fabrication for EHV/UHV transmission lines (220 kV / 400 kV / 765 kV / HVDC)
.
Proficiency in reading fabrication drawings, BOMs, and structural detailing.
Hands-on experience with fabrication machinery, CNC cutting, drilling, and welding equipment.
Knowledge of fabrication standards such as
IS 802, IS 2062, AWS D1.1, ASTM A36/A572
.
Leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Exposure to SAP systems

Preferred candidate profile

10-15 years of experience in structural fabrication or related field.
Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical or Production/Industrial Engineering.
Proficiency in welding & cutting techniques using various materials such as steel, aluminum, etc.
Strong understanding of tower fabrication processes for transmission lines.
