If you are a passionate individual looking to exceed customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions, joining the Xylem team might be the perfect fit for you. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Electrical System Design & Integration** - Interpret project specifications to design low/medium-voltage electrical systems. - Apply domain knowledge to optimize electrical layouts for safety and performance in wastewater environments. - **Project Execution & Documentation** - Lead engineering projects from proposal to commissioning independently. - Prepare electrical deliverables and estimate execution time and costs for proposals. - Support product localization and participate in design reviews and technical discussions. - **Mentoring & Collaboration** - Mentor junior engineers in electrical design best practices. - Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and mechanical engineers across all project phases. - **Global Exposure** - Be open to short-term and long-term travel for project execution and customer/vendor meetings. **Skills & Qualifications:** **Must-Have** - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. - 10-14 years of experience in electrical design for the wastewater treatment industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and strong knowledge of control panel and MCC design. - Expertise in power distribution, MCC design, and electrical protection. - Strong understanding of UL, CE, IEC, NFPA, NEC, and NEMA standards. - Ability to handle projects independently and meet deadlines. **Nice to Have** - Experience with E-Plan and product localization for regional compliance. - Knowledge of backup power systems for wastewater facilities and understanding of earthing and lightning protection. - Ability to bring innovative ideas to the team and improve existing design practices.
