Job Description

As a member of the Xylem team, your role will involve designing and integrating electrical systems, leading project execution, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and showcasing your expertise in the field. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Electrical System Design & Integration: - Interpret project specifications to design low/medium-voltage electrical systems. - Apply domain knowledge in various water treatment systems. - Optimize electrical layouts for safety, maintainability, and performance. - Project Execution & Documentation: - Lead engineering projects from proposal to commissioning. - Prepare and review electrical deliverables. - Estimate project costs and ensure timely delivery of quality outputs. - Mentoring & Collaboration: - Guide junior engineers in electrical design best practices. - Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and mechanical engineers. - Work closely with global/local teams, customers, and vendors. - Global Exposure: - Openness to travel for project execution, meetings, factory testing, and commissioning support. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. - 10-14 years of experience in electrical design for wastewater treatment. - Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical. - Strong knowledge of control panel and MCC design. - Expertise in power distribution, protection, and switchgear selection. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. - Experience in on-site installation, testing, and commissioning. - Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
