Job Description

Role & responsibilities

responsible for the design of main electrical equipment and materials.
prepare and review technical specifications and data sheets.
prepare electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.
prepare Hazardous Area Classification with Designer support (only 2D drawings), Panel schedules (Power and Lighting), Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Control Schematics.
Prepare MTO/BOM, Lighting Calculations, Cable Tray and Trench sizing Calculations.
Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Electrical Equipments (TRANSFORMERS, SWITCHGEARS, GENERATORS, BUS DUCTS, UPS, CAPACITORS, ) and Bulk Materials (Cables, cable glands, cable trays, lighting, earthing material)
Lighting and Grounding materials)
Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Electrical Equipments and Bulk Materials.
Interact and collaborate with rest of technical disciplines involved.
ability to deal with change and demonstrate flexibility as required.
demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issued.
Manage engineering vendors data.
Report engineering status and progress.

Manage schedules, planning, manhours, teams.
