Job Description

Position:

Lead - DCC Production

Location:

Jigani, Bangalore

Reporting to:

Head DCC Production

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead Production is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all production activities, ensuring that productsare manufactured efficiently and delivered on-time while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Participate in the monthly production meeting and receive the monthly targets.
Prepare production plans and schedules to accomplish the targets.
Monitor production progress and adjust as needed to ensure timely delivery.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes.
Address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

Resource Management:

Manage the allocation of resources, including man, materials, and equipment, to ensure full capacity utilisation and productivity.
Maintain the optimum level of inventory.

Cost Management:

Ensure operating at minimum cost.
Analyse production costs and identify areas for improvement.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability.

Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff to ensure they are performing their duties effectively.
Provide training and development opportunities to improve employee skills and performance.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor and Evaluate performance of sub-ordinates.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Stay up to date on the latest production technologies and techniques.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in engineering or Diploma with 10+ years of experience in production management
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and resource management techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems - SAP, MS Office

Essential Skills:

Technical Skills: Production Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Management, Cost Control, QMS, Process Improvement and Lean implementation.
Leadership Skills: Team Leadership, Motivation, Communication, Problem-Solving, Decision-Making.
Soft Skills: Analytical Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management, Organization, Adaptability.
