Description
Lead - Data Scientist About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and GCP-certified AI/ML Engineer with expertise in Generative AI models , Natural Language Processing (NLP) , and cloud-native development . This role involves designing and deploying scalable ML solutions, building robust APIs, and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will also have a solid background in software engineering and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement GenAI and NLP models using Python and relevant libraries (Transformers, LangChain, etc.) Deploy ML models and pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions) and Azure ML/Azure Services Develop and manage RESTful APIs for model integration Apply ML Ops and CI/CD best practices using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins Ensure solutions follow software engineering principles , including modularity, reusability, and scalability Work in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define use cases and deliver PoCs and production-ready solutions Optimize performance and cost efficiency of deployed models and cloud services Maintain strong documentation and follow secure coding and data privacy standards Required Skills: Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML & NLP frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, Hugging Face) Experience with Generative AI models (OpenAI, PaLM, LLaMA, etc.) Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts like embeddings, summarization, NER, etc. Proficiency in GCP services Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, BigQuery (GCP Certification is mandatory) Familiarity with Azure ML / Azure Functions / Azure API Management Experience in building and managing REST APIs Hands-on with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus) Strong grasp of software engineering concepts and Agile methodology Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field Experience working with cross-platform AI integration Exposure to LLM Ops / Prompt Engineering Certification in Azure AI Engineer or Azure Data Scientist is a plus Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, Bangalore Experience : 8 -12 Years Interested candidates please share your updated CV to deepshikha.mahato@kanini.com
