Lead Data Scientist

As the Lead Data Science Expert (ML/AI/Data Science) at Egnify, you will play a crucial role in uncovering valuable insights from large volumes of data sourced from various internal and external outlets. Your expertise will be instrumental in making informed decisions that contribute to the enhancement of our products and services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the business challenges at hand. - Driving data analysis and developing models that directly impact our operational efficiency. - Collaborating with professionals from diverse scientific, engineering, and business backgrounds. - Partnering with engineers to implement and monitor the performance of data-driven recommendations, proofs-of-concept, and models. - Employing machine learning techniques to select features, optimize classifiers, and build predictive systems of high quality. - Conducting data mining using cutting-edge methodologies. - Extracting insights from authentic and publicly available sources to enrich data science initiatives and address data-related challenges. - Processing, cleansing, and validating data integrity for analytical purposes. - Performing ad-hoc analyses and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. - Developing automated anomaly detection systems and continuously evaluating their efficacy. Qualifications: - B.Tech / M.Tech / PhD in Computer Science from prestigious institutions such as IITs or IISc, with a preference for leading engineering schools. - A minimum of 6 years of overall experience, including 2-3 years of demonstrable expertise in ML/AI/Data Sciences. - Proficiency in Data and Web Data Analytics. - Experience in utilizing machine vision, data mining, or machine learning to address real-world challenges with extensive image and/or video datasets. - Proficient in Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit) or equivalent scripting languages. - Familiarity with R, Matlab, or other statistical tools. - Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, etc. - Strong grasp of statistics, algebra, probability, and mathematical optimization. - Interest in leveraging scientific approaches to tackle educational issues on a large scale. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with individuals from diverse technical backgrounds. - Possession of patents and/or technical publications is advantageous. - Prior experience in the Ed-Tech sector is desirable.
