The Spec Analytics Intmd Analyst role is a developing professional position where you will deal with most problems independently and have the latitude to solve complex issues. You will integrate in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. It is essential to have a good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others to achieve the objectives of the sub function/job family. Your role will involve applying analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies with attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on factual information. You will typically handle variable issues with potentially broader business impact and apply professional judgment when interpreting data and results. It is crucial to break down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Your work will have a moderate but direct impact through close contact with the core activities of the businesses. The quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of your team and other closely related teams. The TTS Analytics team provides analytical insights to the Product, Pricing, Client Experience, and Sales functions within the global Treasury & Trade Services business. You will work on business problems focused on enhancing client experience, driving acquisitions, cross-sell, and revenue growth. The team extracts relevant insights, identifies business opportunities, converts business problems into analytical frameworks, and uses big data tools and AI/ML techniques to drive data-driven business outcomes in collaboration with business and product partners. As a Spec Analytics Intmd Analyst in the TTS Analytics team, you will report to the AVP or VP leading the team. Your responsibilities will include working on multiple analyses throughout the year on business problems across the client experience for the TTS business. This will involve leveraging various analytical approaches, tools, and techniques, working on multiple data sources (such as unstructured data like emails, call transcripts, client profile & engagement data, transactions & revenue data, digital data, etc.) to provide data-driven insights to business partners and functional stakeholders. You will be a key contributor to ideation on analytical projects to tackle strategic business priorities. The role will require endless curiosity as ambiguity and open-ended questions are a core part of the team's work. You will work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies. It is important to appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience in data science and must have substantial experience in identifying and resolving business problems, utilizing text data for business value, leveraging different NLP and LLM techniques, developing analytical tools and methods, applying ML, DL, and Gen AI techniques, working with data from different sources, and working extensively with Python and SQL. Prior working experience in the Customer experience domain and developing Agentic AI solutions is a plus. A Master's in Engineering, Technology, Statistics, Economics, or similar quantitative disciplines is preferred for education. You should possess strong analytical skills with logical reasoning and problem-solving ability. Proficiency in converting business problems into analytical tasks and analytical findings into business insights is necessary. You should be proficient in formulating analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with data, and have the ability to work hands-on to retrieve and manipulate data from big data environments. Expert knowledge in Python, SQL, PySpark, and related tools is required, along with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Tableau is a bonus.
