Job Description

oProvide 2nd line (incident solving) support for Linux Server platform-

oDeliver Linux Servers (VM/physical) as per need

oPatch management of Linux Servers

oDeliver/execute project work

o Work simplification by doing automation or providing input

o Involvement in project work or work packages as and when required

Requirements

An Engineering graduate in Computer Science from a reputed institute with overall 3 - 5 year of experience in IT environment whereas 3yrs must be relevant experience in Linux is mandatory-

- With the following primary skillsets:

o Practical exposure on Linux Server System Administration on various range RHEL 7/8/9

o Scripting knowledge (Shell or Bash)

o Good concept of Operating Systems, Networks,Protocols (like TCPIP etc,)

o Good concept of Operating Systems

- With the following skills that can give an added advantage:

o Scripting knowledge (Python), Ansible

o Patching of servers

Behavioral Skills:

Able to work in a multi cultural global environment

Sound communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues clearly and logically, written and verbal-

Good team player, self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision

Good problem solving skills; clear decision-making ability to judge complex situations
