Lead Backend Engineer

As a Lead Backend Engineer at the company, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end product features. Your responsibilities will include building and integrating RESTful APIs, implementing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, participating in code reviews and technical planning, ensuring performance, security, and scalability across all backend systems, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting production issues to maintain high system availability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. - Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end product features. - Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems. - Implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning. - Ensure performance, security, and scalability across all backend systems. - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high system availability. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in backend development. - 1+ year of relevant hands-on experience with Kotlin, strong proficiency in Java. - Expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem. - Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitLab CI. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. - Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.
