Role & responsibilities:

Azure DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will lead the development and deployment of our applications. You will work directly with engineering teams to ensure that pipelines, environments and cloud services are correctly configured. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that systems are maintainable, secure, efficient, and stable. You will drive technical discussions in conjunction with engineering leadership about how our systems should be architected, scaled, maintained, and improved.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical decisions on how systems should be architected, scaled, maintained, and improved.
• Work closely with our implementation partners to ensure that all integration is secure.
• Understand which products are deployed into what environments and know how to resolve production issues, or who to reach who can resolve them.
• Configure pipelines, deployments, private networks, cloud configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and security.
• Drive the technical direction and architecture of our ECommerce platform.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a DevOps engineer, specifically in Azure space.

• Experience with PHP backends

• Expertise with Azure DevOps:

• ADO Build and Release Pipelines

• ADO Artifacts

• Azure Repos

• Expertise with Azure Virtual Networks

• Expertise Deploying Azure Functions

• Expertise configuring and deploying Static Web Apps

• Expertise configuring and deploying App Services

• Expertise with database configuration (Specifically Azure SQL)
• SSMS
• Azure SQL Database Emulator
• Expertise with security, permissions, and resource groups.
• Expertise with log analytics.
• Knowledge of other Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a huge plus.
