Lead Associate Transactional Quality (US Mortgage - Live Underwriting) Summary Seeking a mortgage underwriting professional with expertise in analyzing income, assets, credit, and collateral. Ideal for individuals with strong knowledge of U.S. residential mortgage processes and risk assessment in live underwriting. Location Chennai Your Future Employer – A global leader in business process management providing transformative solutions in mortgage operations and underwriting services for top-tier clients across the financial services industry. Responsibilities – Evaluate mortgage applications including 4 C’s: Credit, Collateral, Capacity, and Capital. Analyze income (self-employed/rental/wage), assets, liabilities, credit, and property documentation. Review appraisals and ensure compliance with industry and agency standards. Make sound loan eligibility decisions independently based on underwriting guidelines. Maintain confidentiality and ensure high-quality service delivery with adherence to daily SLA and quality metrics. Requirements – 6-8 years overall experience, with 4+ years in live US mortgage underwriting. Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, and VA underwriting guidelines. Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with adaptability to shifting organizational needs.
