Lead Associate - Buying & Merchandising

You will be responsible for managing the business portfolio for Apparels, encompassing various aspects such as business Analytics, financial planning, range planning, sourcing, and managing people, vendors & team. Your main responsibilities will include optimizing sales for a group of products, focusing on revenue, margins, and growth of categories. You will be involved in range planning, product-brand mapping, product range planning, and effective planning and forecasting to maximize profitability. Additionally, you will need to work on trend forecasts, implement sale plans, and conduct financial analysis related to sales, margin, discount, and inventory. Collaborating with the central planning team on Option planning and OTB working will also be part of your tasks. Inventory management will be crucial as you plan for the inventory flow for the entire category. You will also be responsible for managing vendors, building a network, vendor-product mapping, and developing an MP vendor-base for the category. To excel in this role, you should have 4-7 years of experience with a Fashion Background, preferably with relevant Category experience. Familiarity with category management, understanding market dynamics, possessing sound business judgment, negotiation skills, networking abilities, and proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data are essential qualifications.,
