Lead Architect

Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in project delivery, design management, and project management to position and win projects involving various services. Your responsibilities will include master plan and layout preparation, core competency in architectural designs, knowledge of statutory regulations and sustainability requirements, preparation of BOQs and tender documents, interdisciplinary coordination, and more. You will work closely with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for planning, developing, delivering, and operating projects. Key Responsibilities: - Master plan and layout preparation at plot plan level - Core competency in Architectural designs including working on schematic/statutory/working drawings, 2D/3D presentations, architectural BOQ & specifications - Knowledge of statutory regulations, LEED certifications requirements, hygiene, and sustainability related design concepts - Reviewing and checking global engineering partners" drawings & documents - Strong knowledge of NBC, statutory codes, building byelaws, and state-wise requirements - Preparation of BOQs, Tender Documents, etc. - Faade & Fenestration, Interiors, Sanitation, and plumbing conceptualization to detailed engineering - Preparation of Design Basis Report & Room Book - Planning/guiding a team of Revit modelers in developing BIM model meeting LOD 100 to 400 requirements - Preparation of cost estimation for architectural part of the project Qualification Required: - B.Arch. Degree from a recognized university, Registered with COA - 12+ years of experience in industrial projects in domains like Advance manufacturing of Chemical, fine chemicals, specialty chemicals, new energy businesses, automotive industries, pharmaceutical plants, FMCG projects - Data Center Experience will be an addon advantage - Awareness of 3D platforms like Revit 3D, Sketch up, Lumion, Twin motion - Excellent domain knowledge of Master planning, preparation of concept layouts, working drawings, and Pre-Engineered Building works Additional Details: At Jacobs, the company values the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle to consistently deliver and exceed clients" expectations.
