Role Requirements and Responsibilities:

Business Process Understanding

  • Understand end-to-end NBFC business flows

    Loan Origination, Underwriting, Disbursement, Collections, Embedded Finance, and Customer Lifecycle

    .
  • Work closely with business teams to translate operational issues into actionable technical insights.
  • Support process optimization initiatives by identifying system bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

Application Support & Maintenance

  • Provide L2/

    L3 support

    for core NBFC applications and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot

    production incidents

    , perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution and preventive actions.
  • Monitor application health using

    DataDog

    , CloudWatch, and other observability tools.
  • Handle

    incident, problem, and change management

    using ITIL best practices.

Technical Support & Configuration

  • Work on

    API-based integrations

    (REST, JSON, Webhooks) across internal and external systems (3rd party integrations, Partner APIs).
  • Perform

    SQL queries

    for data analysis, reconciliation, and issue verification.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy fixes and enhancements.
  • Support and maintain applications hosted on

    AWS

    (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Perform

    release validation, UAT support, and deployment verification

    .

Monitoring & Automation

  • Implement and maintain

    application and infrastructure monitoring

    dashboards in

    DataDog

    .
  • Develop

    automated scripts or workflows

    for proactive issue detection and alerting.
  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency and reducing MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work cross-functionally with

    Business, Product, QA, and Development teams

    .
  • Communicate effectively with

    NBFC business stakeholders, vendors, and partners

    for issue resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain

    support documentation

    ,

    SOPs

    , and

    knowledge base articles

    .

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • AWS Cloud Services:

    EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch
  • Monitoring Tools:

    DataDog (mandatory), Grafana, or similar tools
  • Databases:

    SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL (strong SQL query and troubleshooting skills)
  • APIs (mandatory):

    RESTful APIs, Postman testing, API integrations and troubleshooting
  • Operating Systems:

    Linux/Unix fundamentals
  • Scripting:

    Basic knowledge of Shell/Python scripting (preferred)

Business & Functional Skills

  • Deep understanding of

    NBFC lending lifecycle

    Loan origination, underwriting, risk evaluation, disbursement, repayments, NPA management.
  • Familiar with

    SME / SBA / LPD / LPA / Embedded Finance

    workflows.
  • Contribution to automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze business incidents and map to corresponding tech failures.
  • Exposure to

    Core Lending Platforms

    ,

    CRM systems

    , or

    Partner API integrations

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven, and customer-oriented mindset.

Team player with the ability to work in high-pressure production environments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelors Degree in

      Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering / MCA

      or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    • Experience in

      NBFC / Banking / Fintech

      domain is

      mandatory

      .
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate
    • ITIL Foundation Certification
