Join us as a Lead AEM Developer at Barclays, where you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of location strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. Spearheading the evolution of our digital landscape, you will drive innovation and excellence by harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. As a Lead AEM Developer, your key responsibilities will include: - Developing solutions in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM / CQ5), designing and building components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR). - Having strong experience with middleware & microservice development using technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, Docker. - Utilizing modern code management and CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory. - Leading code reviews, providing feedback on designs/code, and working in Agile methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence. - Leveraging industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions with a Secure-SDLC mentality. Highly valued skills may also include experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript programming, collaborating with frontend developers, backend developers, and analytics teams, knowledge of Adobe Analytics implementation using Adobe Launch, and advising on digital strategy with Digital Channels. The role is based out of Pune and aims to design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. Key Accountabilities: - Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing through code reviews and staying informed of industry technology trends. - Adhering to secure coding practices, implementing effective unit testing practices, and ensuring code scalability, maintainability, and optimized performance. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions, lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, and coach employees towards achieving those objectives.
