Job Overview:

SAB STAR DEVELOPER LLP, a leading Mumbai-based real estate development company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all legal matters related to real estate transactions, property laws, and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in supporting our projects by ensuring all legal aspects of development, acquisition, leasing, and sales are effectively managed, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on legal issues related to real estate transactions, including land acquisition, property development, leasing, and sale agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to property development, sales, and construction agreements.
• Handle litigation and dispute resolution related to property matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority), land titles, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Represent the company in meetings with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal parties.
• Conduct legal due diligence on properties, including verifying titles, encumbrances, and other legal matters before acquisitions or development.
• Prepare legal documents, including notices, agreements, and other contractual papers related to real estate projects.
• Advise senior management on legal risks, mitigations, and best practices in property development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.

Requirements:

• LLB degree from a recognized law school.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate law, preferably with a focus on property development and related legal matters.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, including RERA, property title checks, agreements, and land acquisition procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and agreements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Prior experience working in the real estate or construction industry is a plus.
