Arun Singh & Associates is a (woman-owned) Pan India law firm network that is primarily based in Gurugram District & Sessions Court. We nurture young talent and train them to become court-ready (independent practitioners) while they train and work for us. Our interns/associates get to handpick cases of their choice from the following broad categories:

> 138 NI Act Cases

> Appeals

> Consumer Cases

> Criminal Cases - Fraud, Forgery, Cheating, etc.

> Execution Petitions

> Hindu Marriage Act Cases - Divorce, Maintenance, DV, etc.

> Insolvency

> Mediation, etc.

> Permanent Lok Adalat Cases

> Recovery Suits

> Succession

> Trademark, SFIO, SARFAESI Cases, etc.

Job/Internship Related Information:

> Interview will be conducted in OFFLINE mode only.

> Candidate should be located near Gurugram District Court.

> Working Hours: 10am to 4:30pm, Weekdays + Working Saturdays

> Primary Work Location: Gurugram District & Sessions Courts

> Stipend/Salary: 4k-8k /month

> Duration of probation: 3 months (can be increased based on performance)

> 1 Month non-negotiable notice period.

Responsibilities:

Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Compile a list of matters listed in the coming week

2. Mark presence in listed matters

3. Maintain and update daily diary (legal reference) as well as MS-Excel

4. Work on live cases and prepare case synopsis

5. Maintain, update and arrange case files.

What will candidates learn:

1. Candidates will learn how court proceedings are conducted

2. Candidates will also be taught how to prepare and generate summons, warrants, etc.

3. Excellent opportunity to get exposure to live cases

4. Opportunity to attend session courts, learn the art of argument/pleading/defending, etc.

Qualifications:

Law Graduates or Final Year Law Students

Legal Drafting

MS Excel

MS Word

Emailing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information:

1. Proper training will be provided to work on the mentioned responsibilities

2. Interviews will be conducted in offline mode only

3. Stipend/Salary shall be decided/revised on the basis of knowledge, experience, aptitude, attitude, performance, etc.
