Laundry Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and upskill pressmen on

  professional ironing techniques

  , fabric care, garment handling, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement

  SOPs

  for training, daily operations, and service quality.
• Create structured

  performance metrics

  to track skills, productivity, accuracy, and service quality.
• Conduct regular workshops on

  soft skills

  , communication, customer etiquette, and workplace discipline.
• Teach staff to use the

  STEAMEE application

  , including order processing, garment tagging, status updates, and workflow adherence.
• Ensure all team members understand and follow

  company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines

  .
• Perform periodic quality checks to ensure ironing standards and turnaround timelines are consistently met.
• Work closely with operations and management teams to improve productivity and workforce efficiency.
• Maintain a positive training atmosphere, motivate staff, and support their professional growth.

Requirements:

• Experience in laundry operations, garment care, or training roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, ironing techniques, and finishing processes.
• Excellent communication and people-handling skills.
• Ability to create SOPs and structured training programs.
• Comfortable working with mobile applications and basic operational tools.
• Based in Chennai or willing to relocate.
