Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct topographic, boundary, and layout surveys for real estate and construction projects.
Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and mark reference points and layout lines on construction sites.
Use surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Theodolite to measure land features accurately.
Prepare detailed survey reports, drawings, and maps based on gathered data.
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs are aligned with the physical site conditions.
Maintain and update survey records and documentation as per statutory requirements.
Ensure compliance with local land surveying laws, zoning regulations, and environmental restrictions.
Assist in resolving site discrepancies during construction and monitor changes to the land.
Supervise or guide junior survey assistants or technicians on site when required.
