Job Title: Land Regulatory Manager

Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra

Position Overview

The Land Regulatory Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and related land use approvals for renewable energy projects. This role requires working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects align with regulatory requirements and land policies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in land use regulation, compliance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage and ensure compliance with all land regulatory policies, laws, and local government regulations for renewable energy projects.
  • Land Acquisition: Oversee the identification, negotiation, and acquisition of land for projects, ensuring all legal and regulatory procedures are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key land regulatory authorities, government officials, and local communities.
  • Permit & Licensing Management: Coordinate the application process for land use permits, environmental approvals, and other necessary licenses.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate documentation and reports to relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., legal, project management, and engineering) to integrate regulatory requirements into project plans.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in land acquisition and regulatory processes, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in land regulatory compliance and land acquisition for large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of land use laws, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex regulatory challenges with limited resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in land use planning, environmental science, public policy, law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in land regulatory compliance, permitting, or acquisition.
  • Experience working with government agencies and navigating regulatory processes.
  • Willingness to travel for project-related activities and stakeholder meetings as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in renewable energy, particularly solar or wind projects.
  • Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and land use planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
