Job Description: Lady Assistant Security Officer (Lady ASO)

Role Purpose :

To assist the Security Officer in ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant environment at the site, with a focus on supervising female security staff, managing access control for female visitors and employees, and handling any gender-specific security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervision & Deployment

- Assist in the day-to-day supervision of security personnel, especially female guards.

- Ensure post-wise deployment is in line with duty rosters and operational requirements.

- Monitor punctuality, grooming, and discipline of female staff.

- Access Control & Frisking

- Oversee frisking and screening of female employees, visitors, and contractors in compliance with SOPs.

- Ensure the frisking area maintains privacy and dignity.

- Monitor security equipment (HHMD/DFMD/CCTV) during access control duties.

- Incident Management

- Respond to security incidents involving female staff, visitors, or residents, ensuring prompt and

discreet handling.

- Prepare and submit incident reports to the Security Officer.

- Escalate sensitive matters promptly as per the escalation matrix.

- Compliance & Documentation

- Maintain records of female guard attendance, leave, and training.

- Ensure adherence to site-specific security policies, client protocols, and statutory compliance.

- Assist in periodic audits and inspections.

- Training & Awareness

- Conduct regular briefing sessions for female security staff on SOPs, safety, and emergency

procedures.

- Promote awareness of harassment prevention, safety reporting, and workplace conduct.

- Client & Visitor Interaction

- Serve as a point of contact for female visitors for security-related queries or assistance.

- Support client events or VIP visits involving female participants.

Key Skills & Attributes

- Strong supervisory and coordination skills.

- Good communication in local language & English/Hindi.

- Knowledge of basic security systems and procedures.

- Integrity, discretion, and a professional demeanor.

- Awareness of womens safety and harassment prevention laws.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate / 12th Pass with relevant security experience.

- Prior experience in security operations, preferably in corporate, hospitality, or institutional

environments.

- Ex-servicewomen or candidates with formal security training preferred.
