Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Lab Technician is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing electronic components and circuit boards of Hearing Aids in accordance with company standards, IPC requirements, and customer specifications.
requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components and hand tools in a manufacturing environment with accuracy and speed.
Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components in hearing aids.
Follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders to ensure proper assembly of products.
Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards in the service lab.
Operate soldering equipment such as wave soldering machines, and hot air rework stations.
Repair or rework defective assemblies as needed.
Handle and store components following ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
Report defective materials or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Document work performed and update production logs accurately.
Collaborate with leads and quality control personnel to resolve assembly or process issues.
Candidate should be familiar with MS Office and basics of computer operations. should do repairs and acoustic testing for hearing aids.
