Job Description

As a Junior Lab Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in routine diagnostic procedures, maintaining lab hygiene, handling equipment safely, and ensuring accurate results under the supervision of senior lab staff. Responsibilities: 1. Collect and label blood, urine, stool, and other body fluid samples from patients. 2. Assist in performing basic pathological tests (CBC, Glucose, Lipid Profile, etc.). 3. Operate and maintain lab instruments like centrifuge, microscope, and analyzers. 4. Prepare slides and specimens for analysis. 5. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and workspace. 6. Follow NABL/NABH quality control and lab safety standards. 7. Enter patient details and test results into the system. 8. Coordinate with doctors, lab in-charge, and front office team when required. 9. Support home collection team in logistics (if required). --- ✅ Required Skills: Basic knowledge of laboratory operations and medical terminology Confidence in handling lab equipment Good observation and attention to detail Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel or Lab Software) Polite and patient-friendly behavior Ability to multitask and follow instructions --- 🎓 Qualification & Experience: Educational Qualification: DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology
