Lab Technician - Civil Project

You will be responsible for supporting civil construction projects as a Lab Technician by conducting material testing according to relevant quality standards. Your duties will involve testing construction materials like concrete, soil, aggregates, and bitumen, and meticulously documenting results to ensure project quality assurance. Your key responsibilities will include conducting field and laboratory tests on various construction materials as per IS/ASTM standards. You will also be preparing and testing concrete cubes and cylinders for compressive and tensile strength, ensuring the calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment, and accurately recording test data in detailed lab reports and logs. Additionally, you will assist in sampling and site testing during construction activities, maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with lab protocols, and collaborate with the Quality Control/Quality Assurance team for material approvals. Furthermore, you will be tasked with identifying and reporting non-conformities or quality deviations in materials, as well as maintaining proper storage and labeling of test samples. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires in-person work at the specified location.,
