Site Surveyor

As a Site Surveyor at our company, you will be responsible for conducting land and construction site surveys. Your primary duties will include measuring and mapping land features, analyzing site conditions, and providing essential data for engineering and construction projects. You will utilize total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments to conduct land and site surveys. Your role will also involve preparing detailed reports, maps, and drawings, establishing control points and boundary lines, and interpreting construction drawings and project specifications. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate site measurements. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining and updating survey records and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements, and identifying and resolving discrepancies in survey data. To be successful in this position, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience as a Site Surveyor in construction or land development projects is preferred. Proficiency in using surveying tools like total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD is required, along with strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, along with good communication and teamwork skills, is important for this role. Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements are also key attributes we are looking for in potential candidates. Knowledge of GIS software, land laws, and building regulations, as well as certification in surveying, are preferred qualifications. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
