As an Equipment Calibration Specialist, your role involves ensuring the proper documentation, calibration, maintenance, and compliance of R&D lab equipment. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Documentation & Compliance**: - Create and maintain all documentation for R&D lab equipment in accordance with lab guidelines and quality standards. - Keep accurate and updated records of equipment usage, maintenance, and calibration. - **Equipment Calibration**: - Coordinate with calibration partners to schedule and manage the calibration of lab equipment. - Maintain detailed calibration records, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance. - Regularly review calibration schedules to uphold consistent equipment performance. - **Calibration Report Review**: - Validate calibration reports for accuracy and completeness. - Address any discrepancies and take corrective actions when necessary. - Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to senior quality staff. - **Internal Lab Audits**: - Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. - Document audit findings, suggest improvements, and assist in implementing corrective actions. - Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes. - **Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting**: - Conduct pre and post-calibration functional checks. - Perform routine preventive maintenance to uphold equipment reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, collaborating with technicians or partners as required. - Maintain an updated equipment maintenance log. **Qualifications & Skills**: - **Education**: B.Tech / B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, or related field. - **Experience**: Minimum 3 years in equipment calibration, report review, lab audits, and maintenance. - Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards for calibration and lab compliance. - Proficiency in calibration tools, MS Office, and technical manuals interpretation. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent organizational abilities. - Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.,
