Lab Chemist (Ranchi)

Job Title: Lab Chemist (Ethanol Plant)

Location: Gola, Jharkhand

Salary: Up to ₹3 LPA

Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role

Industry Exposure: Ethanol manufacturing experience is mandatory

Educational Background: Degree in Chemistry (B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry)

Job Purpose:

The Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, supporting quality

control processes, and maintaining accurate laboratory records to ensure smooth production

operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples,

and finished products.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures

(SOPs).

• Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare reports for production and quality

assurance teams.

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Assist in troubleshooting production or quality issues based on lab findings.

• Collaborate with team members and support senior lab staff in continuous improvement

initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the ethanol or chemical

industry.

• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.

• Knowledge of quality control standards and laboratory documentation practices.

Skills and Competencies:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic knowledge of lab safety and chemical handling procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
