Lab Chemist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience with various laboratory techniques. This role involves conducting scientific research, developing new products, and ensuring quality control in compliance with industry standards such as GLP, CGMP, and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific research to support product development and innovation.
• Perform analytical testing using techniques such as gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, and spectroscopy.
• Utilize wet chemistry methods for sample preparation and analysis.
• Maintain laboratory information management systems to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards in all laboratory activities.
• Participate in quality control measures to maintain product integrity and safety.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports on experimental results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Proven laboratory experience with a strong emphasis on analytical chemistry techniques.
• Familiarity with chromatography methods including gas chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography.
• Knowledge of spectroscopy techniques for material analysis.
• Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
