Lab Chemist

Role Overview: As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. You will perform testing and calibration activities according to standard testing procedures (STP) to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Your role will involve implementing corrective and preventive actions, maintaining good housekeeping in the laboratory, and managing laboratory chemicals including storage, handling, and transportation. Additionally, you will be accountable for ensuring safe working conditions, safety of equipment, and highlighting any inconsistencies in received samples. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct testing of RM/In-process and finished goods samples - Implement corrective and preventive actions - Maintain good housekeeping in the laboratory - Manage laboratory chemicals storage, handling, and transportation - Ensure safe working conditions and equipment safety - Highlight inconsistencies in received samples - Monitor analysis and testing performance - Handle waste samples disposal safely - Investigate and report questionable test results - Operate instruments such as GC, UV, IR, KF, etc. - Perform instrument calibration and troubleshooting - Prepare Volumetric Solutions - Generate, analyze, and interpret data and reports - Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related concerns - Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements by working with the Quality Assurance team Qualifications Required: - Experience in operating laboratory instruments and analysis - Familiarity with documentation and record-keeping procedures - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance - Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation Role Overview: As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
